We’re The Quarrymen. We’re a skiffle and rock ‘n’ roll group in Liverpool, which is in the north of England. We’ve been playing nearly a year and we’re pretty good! We were started by our leader John Lennon. (He’s the chap in the centre with the guitar.)
We’re very excited by this new thing called the “internet”. We think it might catch on! So we’ve created what we call a “website”. Saves us having to send out an old-fashioned newsletter to our fans! On here you will find our history and stuff about the group members and the music we play. We’ve got links to something new things called “Facebook”, “YouTube” and “Twitter”. Also one of us – Rod the school swot!! – is going to try and keep a diary - which he wants to call a “web log” or “blog” for short…
